Ingredients
  

  • 200ml cold heavy cream
  • 150g fresh strawberries (hulled and mashed)
  • 150g strawberry jam

Instructions
 

  • Prep Strawberries:
    Wash and remove the stems from the strawberries. Mash them using a fork or spoon until chunky.
  • Whip the Cream:
    In a chilled bowl, whip the heavy cream until it reaches soft peaks.
  • Mix:
    Add the mashed strawberries and strawberry jam to the whipped cream. Fold gently until fully combined.
  • Freeze - Step 1:
    Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container (approx. 22 x 11 x 6 cm). Tap or shake the container to level it out. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 1 hour.
  • Stir and Freeze - Step 2:
    After 1 hour, stir the partially frozen mixture to break up ice crystals. Re-level and seal again with wrap or parchment. Freeze for an additional 4 hours or until firm.
  • Serve:
    Let the ice cream sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften. Scoop into bowls or cones and enjoy!
