Prepare the DoughIn a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of water and 1 packet of baking powder. Stir well.Gradually add 4.5 cups of flour and salt. Mix everything together.Knead the dough for about 3–4 minutes until it becomes soft and pliable.Cover with a clean cloth and let it rest for 10 minutes.
Divide and ShapeLightly flour your work surface and divide the dough into two equal portions.Take one half and further divide it into four equal pieces. Repeat with the second half, yielding a total of 8 pieces.Roll each piece into a ball.
Resting the DoughPlace all 8 dough balls onto a floured plate. Cover with plastic wrap and let them rest for 15 minutes.
Flatten and LayerDust your work surface again and roll out each dough ball into a thin, flat sheet.Brush a mixture of melted butter and oil over the flattened dough.Roll the dough into a long strip, then shape it into a spiral or circular coil.Repeat this step with the remaining dough balls.
ChillingArrange the shaped dough on a large plate, cover, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
